From Concept…to Creation – Ft Lee, NJ Apartment Interior Design

Portfolio

3 Nov

I recently completed an interior design project on an apartment located in Fort Lee, NJ. Below are the final photos of a beautifully crafted concept to creation!

This dining table features a modern conical pedestal base with a horizontal ribbed texture. Its dark ebony stained oak is grounding in the glossy white floating space ship kitchen. The sensual shaped Italian dining chairs are upholstered in white gloss faux crocodile with polished chrome legs. Finished in brushed aluminum, the Emeco Navy Counter Stools are very light weight and easy to pull out.

I chose a custom pendant chandelier with a crisp and modern Mediterranean blue silk drum shade. The one simple reflective clear cabochon crystal includes a bottom diffuser to soften the glow.

The home office features a Mid-Century desk which gives a floating illusion of the top and drawers on top of the brushed stainless steel supports.

The desk lamp, with its open geometric base made of cast nickel, has a rectangular lampshade in oyster linen with a top diffuser to soften any glare. The Herman Miller Work Chair is ergonomic without straight lines. It’s curvilinear to follow human form in the visually and tactile sense – making it equipment, rather than furniture.

The custom planned white gloss storage units above are designed to hold all of the office files and supplies.

For the hall, I found this jewel of an accent chest with extra storage for apartment living. The finish is a luminous champagne metallic with mirrored strips giving it a clean, modern look. Above the chest is an oval starburst mirror reflecting the kitchen pendant chandelier, and features hundreds of hand crafted metallic cylindrical rays.
